the "Industry" and Chris Dodd how many people did the Industry screw and ruin?  And why doesn't that matter to anyone?  They have always given the answer that it is business and if you aren't savvy enough to play the game, you lose.  Capitalism and all that.  Not so much on the reverse side though.

Note that they're even trying that line of argument in responding to the Internet blackout. They claim that all the sites that blacked out had 'taken advantage of the market position they had been allowed.' I.e. Hollywood wanted to control the Internet, and, had they not been fighting with each other, would have. Implied in that is, "We'll swat you."

You know, if you declare war and eternal enmity against a vast swathe of the population, you don't give that population any incentive to work with you or do anything but fight everything you do.

Every reductio ad absurdum will seem like a good idea to some fool or another.

whining about unfair attacks on his sex life when he began the whole downgrade of election etiquette all by himself, we have the very people who cheated many out of their work now whining that it all just ain't fair.  We are seeing the 1% in many areas begin to get the drift.  Their hobby horses to wealth may be coming to an end, mostly because their business plan is to rip off as many workers as possible in order to rake in the bucks.  I am hoping Tim Thomas gets a clue soon too.  His work depends on all of us paying our taxes so that he can have an arena to play in that is palace like in order to bring in the big bucks each night.  His 5 million a year wouldn't be there if not for us and the government arrangements with professional sports.
