Hidden. Cute how you pretend not to know why.

    •  No, I do have some idea as to why it... (0+ / 0-)

was removed, after I went and checked my comment list and saw the negatives outweighed the positives. I'm new to this site as of a few days ago, and I'm interested in commenting and discussing, not in getting caught up in all the other stuff.

        UNSOCKED

        T'was the night before day
        folding laundry with care
        I found bunches of socks
        But no matching pair.

        These stockings were hung
in a bag on the door
        a clever device
where my socks could be stored.

        But somewhere between
        being dirty & clean
        the socks seperated
        and haven't been seen
when not long ago I had a full set
now I have stragglers and I'm so upset

        I've searched behind

        the washer and dryer
        I've searched down low
        then higher and higher
        yet no matter where
        I look for these socks
I won't get to find them
        'til one of them talks.

        Then there's the mystery
        of changes in hue
        one black one, one charcoal,
        one brown and one blue
        They seem to match,
        except for the color
        one keeps its brightness
        and another gets duller

        When unloading them
        one always looks better
In spite of washing them all together.

Should I buy a new pack
        to solve all my troubles,
        throw out the singles?
        or keep them for doubles?
        How do I fathom
        the escaping attire?
        where do socks go
        'tween the washer & dryer?
        And why only one
        of each pair disappears?
        why don't they vanish
        along with their peers?

        I suspect it's a plot
        by the sock industry-
        If you keep losing one
You'll buy new ones, you see.

        I'm completely dumbfounded
        and left with no clue
        as Unsocked mysteries
        Often will do

But they do go on feet
        (no riddle to unravel)
        I suppose socks
        were just meant to travel.

      •  Okay, I'll play (11+ / 0-)

even though I have very little doubt that I'm talking with Bell right now.

You say you are interested in commenting and discussing. Interesting that the only person you are interacting with is this diarist or someone who questions your authenticity. You are being hidden by Trusted Users for one of two reasons. One, people think you are a sock puppet or two, you are giving credence to someone who is posting blatant bigotry on this site.

        Clear now?

      •  Do you think people here (16+ / 0-)

Are stupid? You registered 3 days ago, the only comments you've made have been in EAB's diaries, and you use almost the same language he does about people who disagree with him.
So let's pretend you aren't his sockpuppet, and ask you this- if the "vast majority" of Muslims across the world don't follow the archaic teachings of Muhammed, much like Christians ignore the rape, murder, patricide and genocide in the OT, that would make this and Eric's earlier diaries nothing but the rants of an islamaphobic ignorant fool, correct?

        •  You could ask the same of any new user... (0+ / 0-)

who comes in due to an interest in one topic that is posted and the others that follow (I had also commented on Devon Moore's article).
What's wrong with following one series that interests me? Perhaps I'll comment on others; I don't know yet. Not sure why you seem to imply I'm trying to trick you.

I'm not Bell's sock puppet and I've raised my criticisms. But I think things are being pushed too far in the opposite direction, with all of his claims and concerns being dismissed out of hand and labelled bigotry. My reading is that he has good intentions here. I've read the Islamic texts, I'm sufficiently familiar with the Islamic world today that I know that, as far as I'm concerned, there is reason for concern about human rights violations. I have no reason to believe that he's not genuine in raising these concerns.

          •  what are the "good intentions" of blatant bigotry? (6+ / 0-)

And really, using the fact that you posted in Devon's diary, which is a direct response to one of your other diaries under the EAB handle isn't too obvious, but it's still pretty obvious.
Why do you think you need fake accounts to defend your bigotry?
