  •  Giffords Means A Lot To Many (0+ / 0-)

One of the sad facts of life in the military is there are a lot of head injuries, and not just from combat. So there are a lot of veterans walking (and other means of locomotion) around with brain injuries.

When Giffords was shot and the types wounds released I knew she would not have a good result; the information from being around veterans with head injuries is a learning experience. She has made tremendous progress and is doing wonderfully.

I just wish the best for her and all people who have a brain injury.

Back when I was fighting Hepatitis B and C and a rare disease we called our dyslexia, inability to put together a sentence, or finish a sentence, dementia and all sorts of problems thinking - "brain farts" or "brain fog".  It is a weird sensation to know what I wanted to say and what came out was not that. Typing is still a problem. What my brain wants my fingers to type is often not what is typed.
