  •  I'm not aware that Mitt Romney's parents derived (0+ / 0-)

    U.S. immigration status through him.  So I don't think he is an "anchor baby."  Do you have contrary evidence?

      but it points up the fact that Mitt's ancestors were polygamists, some of whom were refugees from US laws and established a Mexican settlement where, apparently, his father was born. I'm sure there was no immigrantion issue since the grandparents were both US citizens, having never given up that citizenship when they fled...there was never an issue raised about birth certificates when George Romney ran for President (he never came that close to the nomination, though).
