  •  Did you read the poll? (0+ / 0-)

Obey and Falk are about the same, both in terms of margin against Walker and name ID.

    •  yes, and yet he was better. (2+ / 0-)

I would definitely favor him over the other two in a primary.  Though as a west coaster that's not my call.

      •  He was -6 and she was -7 (0+ / 0-)

That's basically the same. Certainly not enough to ask the pro-choice community to get behind an anti choice candidate.

        •  do you really think Obey would pursue (3+ / 0-)

an anti-abortion agenda as governor?  If not, I don't see why it would be an issue.

          •  Define "pursue" (0+ / 0-)

Nothing in his record suggests he would veto anti-abortion bills or sign pro-choice ones. There's also the matter of the health care exchanges, which the governor would have significant discretion over.

If you're asking if he would expend political capital to promote anti-choice agenda in office, probably not, but then Walker hasn't really either.

            •  that is what I'm asking. (0+ / 0-)

Therefore I don't see why it'd be an important issue.

              •  The first paragraph is why I oppose him (0+ / 0-)

I want a governor who I know will veto anti-choice bills and sign pro-choice bills.

It would also behoove the Dems to keep the issue on the table in this race, as independent women are a key swing demographic.
