Hell, there's plenty of blame to go around, from stupid employers who don't get that paying a little for Medicare for all is better than paying for workers comp and private health insurance to stupid voters who don't get that the ACA is actually better than the old system, because the old system was so fucking awful.

Go ahead, buy my husband's art. Please. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Windthin?ref=ss_profile

I don't think they employers are stupid. I think they are a-holes. We will keep coming if they hold the keys to our health. These guys all sit on each others' boards. They aren't stupid. They're....evil.

One great big festering neon distraction, I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.

for tens of millions of workers.

It's either around a grand a year in a new federal poor tax while getting nothing in return, or it's close to 10% of their income for junk insurance with a huge deductible they still won't be able to afford to make use of.

It doesn't change the paradigm for working people - don't go to the doctor unless the bone is showing or the bleeding won't stop, and if you do have to go, accept that you're going to wind up wiped out and unable to pay the rent or car payment.

All it achieved was handing hundreds of billions more dollars that belong to poor and working people to insurance industry goliaths so that they can run bigger PAC's and exert even more influence over congress.

It was surrender, and it's going to make thing not only worse but harder to change.

      Fear is your only God.
