  •  Now I am cynical but I think you have found some (0+ / 0-)

maximum place in your ability to wax cynical.

I don't think Obama is terribly concerned about pizzing off the progressives. He thinks it is terribly SMART to do so and puts him squarely in the independents go and vote for candidate. But other than a few jousting matches that were remarkable in their theater with the rethugs, we seem to be the favorite target.

He is a politician though and is extremely shrewd at using the kinds of things people are talking about to make his connections with people. He doesn't embrace OWS, but uses their language. He acts as if he is so extraordinarily both against OWS and yet FOR their call for the 99%. There is where the 11th dimensional chess is.

that policy doesn't matter, and it's all about politics and perception.  The fact that our suggested policies are correct and likely to accrue credit to him for successfully handling problems seems to be irrelevant.

The two things Teabaggers hate most are: being called racists; and black people.

rather than embrace the right, she should take up more of the citizenry's concerns. But blank stare.
