    Perhaps it is a new release?  I read his Sharpe series some years ago and have a couple of his books on my kindle from the Saxon Chronicles.

    I still occasionally try to read Dissolution but for some reason I tend to put it down or aside.  Three times, which may be a personal best for unread books, followed closely by Name of the Rose.

      good luck trying to make much sense of it if this is the first one you've tried. I've read or skimmed-in-depth the first 4 at least; they can be dense.

      one week loan COULD be a "new book" loan. any book gets like 70+% of its lifetime circulations in the first year; libraries often have special shorter loan periods for new materials, to maximize this. and Death is a 2011 title...

      "real" work : a job where you wash your hands BEFORE you use the bathroom...
