  •  Rmoney is a great enemy because he does not know (8+ / 0-)

how to make friends. He is short sighted in pissing off Newt and the Palins  of the conservative world...he would need them in few months time to fire up the masses.

don't believe anything Romney says (come to think of it, neither do I, except when he says he supports lower taxes on capital gains). Once the primaries are over, their outrage at Obama will be enough to motivate them to vote for the GOP nominee, holding their noses if necessary...or it won't. But ultimately they're in the same position as progressives....they can either support the nominee or stay home and watch him lose.

Gingrich has the tail-wagging-the-dog, Bagger endorsed Palin/Cain combo banging the drum for him.

Palin/Cain have nothing to lose by starting a Third Party movement with Gingrich as their candidate.

let this happen. Newt is such a egomaniac that I can totally see him splitting the R vote in the general just to stay in the game.

The Baggers have all been thrown under The Establishment bus and their supporters have been ridiculed and ripped off.

It's hard to imagine the Terrible Trio actually being able to coordinate any kind of campaign, but they are all Victims and that works even better than Defeat Obama.

If revenge isn't enough incentive to get them together, all three of them are grifters and the money making angle of a Third Party will be very tempting.

Romney correctly surmises that the Gingrich and Palin branches have nowhere to go in November if he is the nominee. Just as some liberals carp about Obama, they really have no choice but to vote for him.

..people will have to actually come out to vote FOR the nominee and not against Obama.
