    "There was an amendment offered today that required drug testing for legislators as well and it passed, which led me to have to then withdraw the bill," said Rep. Jud McMillin (R-Brookville), sponsor of the original welfare drug testing bill.

    Why?  Why did that amendment [lead him] "to have to then withdraw the bill?"

    Same with the others?  What reason do they give to justify an about-face when faced with the prospect of their own testing?

      They themselves, or their friends and staff, are on drugs or prescription meds that they didn't obtain legally.

      Or maybe they don't want their followers to know that they're on meds (e.g., see some of the comments on yesterday's piece about Newt Gingrich, especially those about him probably suffering from Bipolar II Disorder).
