    If George W. Bush had said in December of 2008 that Americans were losing jobs by the hundreds of thousands, it would be half true? Only because by stating the fact, that he was trying to take credit for it? I seem to remember him stating that the reason for job losses was because there was uncertainty in the market and his tax cuts for the rich needed to become permanent.

    Ploitifact really sets up an ad-hominem argument. If a politician states a fact, it can't ever be totally true because the politician always has a constituency to satisfy somewhere, somehow. Same could be said of a lawyer in a courtroom. Jurists must recognize self evident truth and decide for themselves. Politifact wants to do the deciding for the public. That is not democracy.

    Socks and sandals. Yeah, I wear 'em. They are comfortable and convenient. So, get off my case.
