    Really?  

    Drug companies, health care companies need to have a profit motive, because if they don't, then how are we going to regulate costs? We are gonna ration care.

    I see... so if we just enable them to make whatever profits they see fit, that's how we keep costs in line?

    Do they make a sweater vest straitjacket?

      monopoly (patented) drug prices are only limited by what customers are able to pay for them.  Maximum profit occurs at a rate where some customers are unable to pay.

      But, hey, they can serve as a warning to the others.

      Ask your barista what her degree is in.
