    Nope. No religious superstition.

Oh. I forgot. Angry Birds. Lots of action. Not much of a plot.

      Angry Birds? SPAWN OF SATAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!

I went with a Kindle Touch because a friend recommended it (and got one for himself). I didn't know that the Nook equivalent was available here, as Best Buy only had the color one. I covet a color Nook or Kindle Fire, but another friend pointed out that those machines are like reading on a PC, since they have backlit screens. Not only that, I think one can get an e-reader app for tablets, so not sure i should spend $200+ for a glorified e-reader. Do you like yours?

      •  I like mine. (0+ / 0-)

I don't know what was paid for it, since it was a Christmas gift.
I like that I can access the internet via wi-fi. I actually like that the screeen is backlit. The lights are fairly dim in my house.

        •  The Kindle Touch has a browser--not great, but (0+ / 0-)

not terrible--and it's handy to have. I didn't bother to get the 3G version as I only rarely use 3G on my phone and can't imagine being somewhere without wifi and saying "Aaaaaaugh! I need a new book to read and can't download one!!!!!"
