    It's easy to try to browbeat every company or organization that  is suddenly found to be not as supportive of progressive causes. But I find that childish and a huge waste of time. It's far better to strengthen organizations that deserve and need our support and money. What is the point of giving to one 'non-profit' group that MAY oh dear jesus MAY give money to another non-profit that is in much more need of attention and support.

    Komen's biggest problem is - as the sold issue of breast cancer support goes - No One Can Trust It Anymore.

    And the concept of one non-profit passing money through to another is ludicrous.

    So the lesson to learn is - directly support the cause or group you intend to support. Do not ask them to support another through that organization, and be very suspicious of those that do.
