  •  I wonder where the RKBA-ers are (0+ / 0-)

How come they're not here yelling at the idea that association with a gun is in some way less than totally wholesome?

An armed society is... a society in which a lot of people get shot.

    •  I'm not an RKBA-er (0+ / 0-)

and I'm not that into guns, but I am finding the reaction a bit over the top.

SGK for whatever seems like they stick pink on just about everything, and try to use it as a marketing tool.

If people want pink guns, I don't care any more or less then if they want green ones, or black ones, or ones with neon running lights.

Thinking about it more, it actually works with the climate of fear that SGK for themselves wants to promote. Be afraid, breast cancer is scary. Be afraid, the world is scary. Protect yourself & give them money!

I own a few guns, and I don't like anything in pink, even if it is not associated with SGK.

My daughter though has a purple/black laminated stock on her 22 rifle, which is quite an eye-catcher.  I didn't get her the pink version because I fire it sometimes too.

Another problem for the Walther, the main problem in fact, is the pink makes it look like a toy.  Some kids are attracted to toy guns, and this pink model is extra dangerous, simply because some kids will think it is a toy.

Many gun owners will not have a Pavlovian reaction to a pink gun.  Just FYI.
