    Indeed, I think I had KFC... once?  But it's damn hard to just "avoid plastics."  

    There's one (1) U.S. food company that doesn't use BPA to line their cans.  (Eden Organics.  Even they use it in small amounts in their tomato cans, but claim they test for it in the products.)  

    Think of all the should-be good for you products that come in cans: fruits, vegetables, beans.  

    Often distributed by food pantries.

    Often eaten by low-income people, who can hardly say, "No, I don't think I'll eat this can of organic kidney beans, it's from a BPA-lined can."
