I am always extremely happy. But it doesn't take much out here in the real world.

day. Asked the guy who was walking away from the spot if it was his and after checking his pockets he said no. Got in the car and just sat there for a minute -- I didn't want to take someone's money. Then I noticed the young woman in the car next to me get out and start looking frantically about while talking on her cell phone. Before I could say anything she went into the store, all the while looking for something and talking on the phone. I waited till she came out again and flagged her down --- she was still on the cell phone. When I asked if she'd lost something she said $20 and I handed it to her. You'd have thought she won the lottery. She said, "You have no idea how much this means to me?" I was thinking, really, $20? Times are tough for so many I guess. Compare that to "forgetting" about 3 million in a swiss bank account. And he's one of us?

It's sad that the situation is such that $20 makes such a difference to someone and that we are delighted when a stranger does the right thing. But we do, and you did, and it makes the world better every time.
