Not only is it untrue that having an abortion or abortions increases the risk of breast cancer (and the links to the studies are posted below), these data only become meaningful when compared to the risks of pregnancy and childbirth.

Most pregnancies and births go well.  Not all of them do.  If a woman dies of complications of a difficult pregnancy (high blood pressure, gestational diabetes) or birth (hemorrhage, infection, stroke), she doesn't survive to get breast cancer.

So she's removed from the breast cancer risk pool before she's counted.

Most abortions are not performed because a particular pregnant woman is at physical risk from the pregnancy, but some of them are, especially late-term abortions.  Those right-wingers (and the Catholic Church) who believe that an abortion to save a woman's life or protect her health is sinful, apparently don't care about an individual woman's life, so why should they care if a woman dies of breast cancer?

I have no help to send. Therefore I must go myself. Aragorn
