      they're looking like they regret it -- a little yellow around the edges of the leaves. Here in SE PA we've been seeing 50s and 60s followed by the 40s and 30s. Plants emerge then get shocked when it gets below freezing.

      Anyone who gardens knows the past few years of weather have been bizarre. There have always been pockets of weird weather, but it's become consistently unsettled over the past few years. When we had two blizzards here five days apart in 2010 people should have taken notice. Instead, you got the ignorant RWers citing the snow as proof that "global warming" was a hoax instead of recognizing that the extreme weather is a bellwether of scary things coming. This extremely mild winter is no less a sign that things are changing, even if it is more enjoyable than mountains of snow.
