multi-dimensional chess canard.  It never takes long for that to pop up, does it?

But you forgot to tell me to clap louder, or look at more pretty pictures, or something.

Obama is succeeding, and that just infuriates the right and some of the left.  Or leftish, I'm never really sure.

His record stands, and it's impressive.  My point was that he could have done a lot more for the people who really need help if he'd had some help.  Given the lack of support, it's astounding how much he's managed to accomplish.

By mid-year deficit reduction will join Paul Ryan's Budget in the trash heap of failed Republican agenda items, and you'll hear a whole lot more about stimulating the economy to faster growth.

Just curious about accountability:  Did the diarists who screamed about Obama never holding BP accountable ever apologize?  Have you ever counted the number of times Obama sold out SS and/or Medicare except it never happened and they're actually stronger than they were 4 years ago?  Was there a "Good Job on Getting out of Iraq" diary in December?  How about apologies from the people who told me dozens of times he'd never get DADT reversed, or that Holder would keep defending DOMA because this administration doesn't care about GLBT rights?   Any of the Kill The Bill people ever admitted that the ACA is helping a lot of people, and may be paving the way for a real single-payer plan sooner rather than later?

    Yeah, accountability's a bitch.

so many of the people who are invested in the fanatically anti-Obama narrative.... they are proven wrong on so many things, yet never seem able to retract false statements or apologize.

It's all negative, all the time.

I'm still waiting for all those people who said that Libya would be a quagmire as bad as Iraq to tell me that they've learned something and shouldn't be rushing to judgement all the time.

In which anyone in BP was held responsible?

Large financial penalties and criminal charges are in the works. Of course it would have been more satisfying to bankrupt them. Rich people could still afford gas and heating oil.

So you're not from a different timeline, you're just making stuff up and hoping it's true.

How about criminal charges? Nineteen people died. Oh, but wait -- they were part of the 99%. The 1% should never pay in kind for slaughtering us through breaking the law.
