I have looked at another source (In These Times) which does indicate it was Bain & Co. as follows:

As Mitt Romney campaigns in today’s Florida presidential primary, airline workers have been following him with a message about one of his old company’s newest clients: Airline giant AMR, the parent company of American Airlines and American Eagle. AMR, which filed for bankruptcy in November, last week announced plans to retain the advice of Bain & Co., the consulting firm where Romney worked before co-founding private equity firm Bain Capital in 1985.

You are correct about which branch of Bain.  It still has Romney's stink and style all over it.  He bases his campaign on his years in the private sector.  These are the practices he wants the entire country to adopt for the public sector  - fire the workers that keep the company functioning on a daily basis; break previous worker contracts; short change and exchange the pensions for the 401K slot machine; ask the Fed to pick up the tab.
