    There should be little to no loss in funds--ever. Haven't the managers heard of Government Bonds? If AA pensions had a large holding of bonds they wouldn't be making 5% (around 1.5%) but they would still be solvent. And in "good times" they would have made better than that 5%. A good manager could even have hedged with funds that would pay more as the government bond rate fell. And the stock portion could be managed and divested soon after the market starts a lower correction. Either these managers are just plain STUPID, or there is more going on here than meets the eye. I believe that the latter is the case, and someone should really be jailed for this, but they won't be, because they are part of the 1%.

    Or: they should be first up-against-the-wall when the revolution comes
