tommyfocus2003 term. Take comfort in that. He won by a single-point plurality in a Republican wave, and his approval numbers are in the toilet.

Spend the next year or so finding a STRONG Democrat to replace him, though!

But that is about four years too long. I doubt he runs again. The only place he'll be running is right back to Fox "News" to make ten times the salary he's making as governor. Expect to see Secretary of State Jon "I hate Kasich" Husted be the GOP candidate and STILL get his ass kicked, no matter how much daylight he puts between himself and Kasich.

Democrats have a hellaciously deep bench. Among the people I've heard angling for it are Strickland, Jennifer Brunner, Rich Cordray, and Tim Ryan — all terrific people, although I am thinking that Strickland should probably not mount a comeback and let us move on to the next generation. (Jennifer and Rich are both in their mid 50s and Ryan is 40). We've got younger people coming up too, including former Hamilton County commission David Pepper who was our auditor candidate in 2010, and Cuyahoga County executive Ed FitzGerald. David just turned 40, Ed is about 44 or so.

Take the "Can't(or)" out of Congress. Support E. Wayne Powell in Va-07.
