    Norman Rockwell fantasy and he can't get out of it. He IS old in his perspective and I suspect it is because he is so insulated. It takes money to remain insulated, and he has it.

    Then there was EJ Dionne pushing back. Let's not forget these are older white men......who probably don't have a lot of female influence in their lives. I know Chris does, but his wife and daughter must smile and nod and keep on walking.

      there is an agenda at play...and they need to disclose it...

        "Old Washington Establishment" or the Blue Book, didn't accept Catholics. It was all waspy and snooty and very quiet. The Catholics have Georgetown and B'more houses Loyola, but by and large, the Catholics were, and still are, considered the lesser creatures. It's just part of the culture.

        I'm not sure Chris is aware of it, is compensating for it, or what. It's not an overt sort of thing, but it's there.
