    Catholics - as opposed to the church hierarchy - support contraceptive coverage as much as anyone else.  It's about GOP politicians, including the remaining presidential contenders, pandering to the social conservative base, most of whom aren't even Catholic.  Which is good for us, because it makes all of them even more toxic.  Well played all around.

      contraception (similar to the stated Catholic view).  That is probably why the GOP took on this issue.
