    It means finding a solution that satisfies most (if not all) parties.  It does not necessitate giving up anything to do so.

    The administration has (so far) stood firm on the issue at hand: making sure birth control is totally covered.  Shifting the onus to the insurance companies rather than the employer doesn't change that one bit.

        that comment.  If politics are the concern, then the "compromise" is still a huge win for Obama, as he's coming out of this looking like Mr. Reasonable while the GOP is looking like anti-birth control lunatics.

        And what about the "religious liberty" claims?  The point of the rule wasn't to set up a battle over religious liberty, unless you buy into wingnut conspiracy theories.  It was to make sure people have full coverage for birth control and other preventative healthcare.  Mission accomplished.
