    -- still important -- still meaningful.

    As for Baba Wawa, it's important to consider that the Baby Boomers are perhaps out of touch with the realities of the 2010s, in which "economic opportunity" is fast becoming a sham; while "staying at home" might be necessary for both men and women, "having babies" is too expensive for most.  Moreover, the economic hierarchy is itself the target of a wide variety of feminist critiques.

      so is far too old to be a boomer...the oldest boomers have only just started to retire (assuming they can afford to); among the rest of us born between 1946-1964, quite a few have a pretty good handle on the sham of "economic opportunities".
