    •  Well (0+ / 0-)

New York, Maryland, Delaware, and DC favor Mitt pretty heavily.

Pennsylvania and Texas are moved back to June due to redistricting, favor Santorum.  Indiana favors Santorum, but he didn't get on the ballot as of now.

Mitt is going to clean up in April, and if he gets enough momentum in that month, he might do better than expected in May and put Santorum away before Texas and Pennsylvania vote.

      •  Polling disagrees with you (0+ / 0-)

Only NY has been polled, and Mitt is stuck at his usual pitiful 30 percent.

NY is a battleground, but no way can Mitt lose it and win the nomination.  Santorum can since his base area is larger than Mitt's.

Mitt's base now is Virginia, New England, and the Mormon states of UT, ID, WY.  That is a bunch, but it sure ain't enough.
