Democrats in Wisconsin got rolled in the 2010 election, but they have been fighting a scorched earth battle against the Repubs since then. They deserve all the respect that ... you aren't giving them. Now wipe your nose and try harder next time.

I will admit that I have not followed recent developments. But if they are fighting that is good. If they are playing by sweet patty-cake rules (like not voting in the Repub primary) then they will just get rolled again.

I'm tired of being rolled. I wanna roll they other guy for a change...please...can we?

        Keeping it quick:

Last year the Democrats in the state senate left the state and hid out for days, weeks, in order to deny a quorum and thereby prevent the Repubs from passing much of their hateful legislation. Life in exile couldn't last forever, of course, and there was some needed legislative work that the Dems supported, so they returned to Madison to fight by other means.

The Democrats and their union allies organized enormous rallies at the state capitol building over a period of weeks.

Recall petitions were collected, forcing recall elections against three Repub state senators, and two of them were defeated.

Recall petitions have been gathered to force recall elections later this year for a few other Repub state senators.

Recall petitions -- totaling a million names -- were gathered to force a recall election of the Repub governor (and the Lt.Gov) later this year.

There's more, you can search for some diaries if you want, there've been plenty of them.
