different objections, including the waste of time, energy and money, so I don't think you should be speaking for anyone but yourself.

    As to YOUR objections:

    1) It only "isn't going to look good" to people who don't understand the open primary system and their right to weigh in on the outcome of a contest between a specific list of contestants. There are no ethics involved when you have been deliberately invited and are entitled to cast your vote.

    2) If it doesn't suddenly "look good" then it's a bit like the Catholic Church howling about something that's been going on forever.

    3) If you can't cast a vote for one of these people 4over one of the others for the purpose of extending the Republican Primary season, which would work to Obama's advantage, fine. You don't have to.

    4) None of the Republicans would be a pretty sight in the White House. This is Obama's election to lose, just like Gore in 2000. He's a great campaigner and he's running against a pack of crazy idiots. If he does botch it, which I'd wager good money he won't, there's not much we can do. If he doesn't botch it, the only way he can lose is if they steal it. Which is why, IMHO, the Democratic Party machine should leave the campaigning to Obama and focus itself on fighting voter suppression and vote-counting shenanigans.

This, too, shall pass. Just like the last global ecological cataclysm. C'est la vie, dude. Take a chill pill, recite the serenity prayer, go with the flow and the moderates into that "goodnight".
