  •  I'm the great-granddaughter (17+ / 0-)

of a murderer (only one -- explained away by the family because the victim was a British soldier) and he was a math genius plus brilliant stone-mason.  My links to him?  Uh, nada except for some DNA evidence.

Santorum's sole raison d'etre has zero to do with his "I was born a poor black child" crap and more to do with his shallow but virulent adherence to insane Catholicism that has zero connection with Jesus -- the guy who should have been Marshall McCluhan in "Annie Hall."

    •  Yea, he pretends to be blue collar (9+ / 0-)

but he's really just a religous nut.  He does have that altar boy, sweater vest, freshly washed, wholesome look about him until you let him talk too long and the ugly comes out.  I read somewhere that Mitt unloading millions in negative advertising on him will be a little like shooting Bambi, which I thought was very funny.

except that Ricky isn't.   None of my grandparents went to college (though one did "read the law" and pass the bar), but if I ever run for office on the platform that my grandmother was a seamstress, please punch me in the balls.
