  •  Romney made his money on capital rather (6+ / 0-)

than on labor, as Santorum did.  Make it on capital, you get to keep more of it.

    •  That's not true: it's even worse. (3+ / 0-)

There's a special law that taxes income from "private equity" at capital gains rates, even though its clearly NOT capital gains but wages.  He's got a special rule because the OTHER special rule didn't apply to him.

Romney is campaigning to be President SuperBain; his cure is to cut wages, end pensions, let companies go bankrupt, and let the assets of production go dark or be sold to China. He really thinks thats the best of all possible Americas.

Don't tell me what you believe, show me what you do and I will tell you what you believe.

There is credible speculation that Romney paid LITTLE OR NO TAX in 2009 due to capital losses which losses may have been ginned up especially for tax purposes and may be more theoretical than real.

We need not to have the attention span of three year olds and be distracted by the red herring of the 13.9% rate, the truth from other years may be MUCH worse. Keep pushing for Romney's other returns.  If nothing else it will be an education in how the .00001% are taxed.  And no one needs that lesson more than Santorum and the rest of the bottom half of the 1%.
