on Kos seem to think that distorting the real reasons that the right may have on a variety of issues is just fine.

This diary begins by stating that "Considering the furor was limited to the Catholic bishops, their Beltway punditry enablers, and opportunistic Republicans, how potent of an issue this can really be in November for the Right is questionable."

Just a couple days ago Rasmussen pointed out that while Obama won the majority of the Catholic voters in 2008, he now trails that large and important sector. Only 19% of Catholic voters now "strongly approve" how he is doing his job.

Obviously, it's a joke to think that Catholic bishops are about the only one upset with this issue. I wish that were true, since they would represent too small a percentage of voters to even matter.

As with many other issues, it would seem to me that we need to educate voters. I don't see how we do this with the use of insulting language.

War is costly. Peace is priceless!
