    Except for the part about how we were saved from the Second Great Depression. I have to ask who is "we"? The article says "America" but I still question it. Yes American corporations were saved from GDII, but most of main street was not. Neither were the very poor, elderly, or sick. Those of us in those categories are in the middle of GDII right now. Those inside the beltway just cannot break free from the echo chamber to see that 1 in 3 Americans are living at or below the poverty line.

    Looks like all kinds of folk wear blinders and have tin ears.
