    I agree totally.  I think it was Dean's message that woke the rest of the Democratic field up to the realization that they better start talking about what they really felt and not worry about the "President's popularity" so much.

    It's just a shame that he was the first one to sieze on it and vocalize it, and then he was overcome (at least for now) by others with more experience or savvy or something.  That makes me sad .. but I think you are right that this is his true legacy, should he not win the nomination (looking more possible than ever).

    And regardless of the outcome, THAT is something the Democrats have to truly thank him for.  If he does not win the nomination, I hope whoever wins it remembers to direct a nod his way.
