  •  I think everyone agrees that there was (0+ / 0-)

a LACK of regulatory overisght until Dodd-Frank, which gave us things like the CFPB, Volker Rule, and the Durbin Amendment.

    •  I think almost everyone here agrees (5+ / 0-)

that the Dodd-Frank bill gives us more regulations, but doesn't fix the problem of regulatory capture.

      •  I don't think Dodd-Frank (0+ / 0-)

is sufficient, either.  I think derivatives, the source of the '08 financial  meltdown, imo, need to be regulated and are not included in Dodd-Frank.  But I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water.

      Dodd-Frank hasn't changed anything!

      •  Considering most of it (0+ / 0-)

is either newly implemented or yet to be implemented, not much could be changed, yet.

        •  Just like the healthcare legislation we're (0+ / 0-)

waiting on I guess. But, no worry, it's all due to go into effect AFTER the election.

All I can say is that our party must know that there will be a lot of losers if an when this goes into effect and they want to put it off as long as possible.
