    insured by their company but who otherwise might chose to use to buy their own insurance under the AHCA?

    Could an employee just walk from the employer's coverage (which they pay into?), get that pay in exempted, then get other coverage with a tax deduction?

    Is there any way around this awful bill should it pass?

      But from what I've read about the Blunt Amendment,

      it's designed to be the Poison Pill to the Affordable Care Act.


      It effectively let's any employer (or insurer according to Merkley)
      to opt out of any insurance item,

      they don't want to cover, on the grounds that

      that have "a moral conviction" against it.


      It gives them carte blanche to deny coverage.

        There has to be some way to get around this?
