    that Thomas is going to wait until 2017. He seems less ... driven than Scalia in that regard.

      Sure, Thomas would make more money speechifying to adoring Republicans crowds than he does as a SupCt Justice, but I don't see him leaving until health drives him out. Why? Well, he's not Sarah Palin, for one thing. For another? He's clinging to his anger at the opposition to his appointment. He won't let that go until it drops from his palsied hand.

        all his anger?  Highest court and he still isn't happy.
        Doesn't ever ask questions.
        Talk about wasted space. Except for his votes, which imo are always wrong!
