Republican ladies,if you have any empathy for your less fortunate sisters,do go on strike.Headaches 24/7/365.Aspirin between the knees.Hell, crazy glue your knees together. And if all else fails, the last resort-THE BOBBITT METHOD.

Republican candidates:no representation without fair taxation.

    •  My first husband was a sanctimonious, conservative (6+ / 0-)

Republican who wanted to control and micromanage every aspect of my life. He wanted a submissive, hausfrau who would center her entire life around him. Going on strike would not have made any difference with him. What I wanted wasn't important. After we had our children, he lost interest in me. For a long time I suspected he was having an affair or might be gay. No. He was addicted to pornography. Much easier to deal with images in an adult bookstore or on a computer screen than with a real life, flesh-and-blood woman with her own needs and desires.

My second husband is a moderate Democrat who wanted an equal parter, someone with whom he could share his life. Things are much better with my second husband, both inside and outside the bedroom.

I realize my first husband is not typical of all Republicans but when I hear about the various scandals involving holier-than-thou, family values conservatives, I just stop and think. My ex was completely messed up in terms of physical and emotional intimacy. I don't think such a guy would even notice if his wife was "on strike".
