  •  A simple meme: (4.00)
Re "Hilary Care": most Americans wanted universal health care, but Republicans killed it under orders from DC lobbyists.

    •  that's the idea (none)
We point out that most Americans want the things Democrats can provide. We stay away from religous "values" and talk about humanist values. The value of caring for our fellow Americans, the value of fairness in the tax system, the value of charity, the value of honesty, the value of hard work, the value of responsibility, etc.

      •  "Humanism" is forbidden! (none)
Danger: "humanism" = "secular humanism" = anti-Christ!  Less volatile: "human".  They can't deny that we're all human (can they?)

    •  hemorrhaging healthcare (none)
Anyone remember how many doctors (and others)wore those ABC ("anybody but Clinton")buttons on their labcoats before the '92 election? Who was behind that merde smear campaign?
    •  Don't forget (none)
the Pharma companies as well. They are the ones holding us by the nuts, since they can afford to buy EVERY politician. In the world.

      •  True (none)
I was trying to keep it simple.  Pharmaceuticals is the #1 response to any follow-up question after point #1 is made - that Americans wanted and still want universal health coverage but the Republicans killed it.
