    As I said, tax exemptions are given for religious and charitable work, pursuant to 501(c)(3) of the tax code.

    In terms of property taxes, that is a matter of state law for the most part.

    •  Right--just like the foundation arm of Americans (0+ / 0-)

      For Prosperity!  It's registered as a 501(c)(3)--which allows for a tax deduction for its donors.

      It specifically DOES NOT advocate for either political party.

      All is well.
