    there are specific names for each move, but i use them by extending my arm its full length to my side, and then holding the handweights, i bend my arm back to my shoulder, and then out again, all very slowly.  then i also do that with my arm extended in front of me.  the number is up to you, but i do 50 to 100 a day, and i do one arm at a time, even when i'm talking on the phone, etc.  

    every time you change the angel of your arm, it works different muscles.  you could lay on the floor on your back, and raise them upward.   you can also hold a weight in your extened arm and bring it slowly to your chest, not upwards to your shoulder - if you see what i mean.

    you will see a definite change in muscle tone in around 2 weeks.

    another thing i do is wear wrap-around weights on my ankles - all day long sometimes.  it just builds great muscle tone, and sorta 'lengthens' the line of your leg.
