      But not all. I just don't think Thomas would inspire the kind of loyalty and turnout they are hoping for. By all rights, the party should be rallying behind Willard at this point, as he is the only one in the entire field that has the remotest chance of defeating Obama but that whole Mormonism thing gets in the way. I think the same thing would apply to skin color. Come on, you know I'm right. Alabama, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, you really think voters in those states would rally behind a black guy?
