    Unlike other solid-to-liquid-fuel processes such as cornstarch into ethanol, this one will accept almost any carbon-based feedstock. If a 175-pound man fell into one end,  he would come out the other end as 38 pounds of oil, 7 pounds of gas, and 7 pounds of minerals, as well as 123 pounds of sterilized water
    Just think what would happen if certain of the GOP candidates decided to devote their bodies to this cause . . . the energy crisis would be solved in no time flat!

        back then - over $80/bbl.

        Even now the internet (and this site!) is abuzz that the "real" price of oil is below that (i.e., it's just being propped up by speculators).

        So it might take a while for skittish investors to be convinced that high crude oil prices are durable enough to invest in this.  Heck, when the tarsands oil only costs $28, wouldn't you put your money over there rather into this?
