    •  I don't think I am (0+ / 0-)

I care about Democrats who will support Democrats.  Anyone who has ever voted for a non Democrat but wants to run as one should explain why and admit they were wrong, barring the Democrat being involved in a major scandal.

That goes for Kirsten Sinema, Brad Schneider, John Delaney, or anyone else.

is a far worse sin than supporting a Green, even in the case of the 2000 election.

Which circles around to an important point: Republicans-turned-Democrats almost always have a moment where they renounce any past support for Republicans. Though we obviously share a lot more values with Greens than Republicans, Green politicians are still out there to defeat Democrats. So we should hold them to the same standard.

Someone who supports a Republican (in general) does it because they believe in philosophy of the Republican.  People change, things change.  So someone changing from red to blue is evolving as a person, while the parties also evolve.

A person who votes Green deliberately chooses to benefit the Republicans, even though they don't agree with the Republican philosophy.

People who vote Green betray their philosophy and are just plain stupider than people who vote GOP and then vote Dem.  This means that the Green converts are not as trustable as the Red converts, if only because Greens sacrifice policy principle for foolish principle.  (Similar too Feingold caring more about campaign contribution principle than every other principle that gets left behind when he loses.)

Mr. Gorbachev, establish an Electoral College!

          •  Well, I disagree that Greens are (0+ / 0-)

deliberately helping Republicans, because like you said, they're foolish.
