.... that a bunch of commandos could slip across their border and blow shit up with impunity and then escape.  If they admitted to it, then they would be "honor-bound" to retaliate.  However if it was only Kurds, no Israelis, then who are they going to retaliate against?  Either way they play it, they either have egg on their face or they're screwed in some more substantial way.

it would certainly put a damper on the Obama administration's saber-rattling rush to war, wouldn't it?

... is part of the cover story to keep the lid on the covert ops, except this time it leaked.

Like Obama joking about Donald Trump's hairdo the night before giving the order to take out Bin Laden.  Except that time, it didn't leak.  Thankfully.

There will be no attack on Iran using main force.  There will be continued covert ops and commando ops, all with plausible deniability but many smiles all 'round.

And hey, I thought you were anti nuclear?  What'choo doin' supporting Iran's nuclear whatever-it-is?

with Israel doing its own dirtywork. Better than having us do it FOR them. Nor do I have a problem with special ops doing anti-nuclear things on the sly in other people's countries. So long as they aren't targeting civilians with Playstation drones and such.

I do have a problem with gross disinformation and Big Propaganda campaigns designed to make idiots of the public. Which, in case you hadn't noticed, are darned sick of sacrificing their children in dirty big wars.
