"make(ing) Obama look better".  That's the personality thing.  Again.

This is political strategy.  Drag this clown show out as long as possible.  Make Rmoney and his Wall St backers spend more money while Rmoney tacks harder right to eventually defeat Frothy, then have to backtrack to the center vs Obama.  Too late, Mittens will be soooooo compromised and bloodied.  heh

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. - Theodore Roosevelt 1918

    •  The real potential I see (0+ / 0-)

Isn't Romney tacking so far right that he can beat Santorum.  He pulled that pretty well in the 'debate' as an ambush but I don't think that's going to fly in the long run.   Santorum is making sure there isn't any oxygen at all to the right of him.  Rmoney's only real argument against him is in the fact that he really IS more electable than Frothy and it's because Frothy is a right wing wack job.

It's tough because an 'electable' goper at this point needs the religious wingnuts but he needs to call them in with dog whistles mostly.  By really going at Santorum's true problem, Romney is at real risk of losing the lunatic fringe that every GOP president has needed since Nixon, at least.

And the "Obama look better" isn't MY problem.  I was pointing out the flimsiness of what Markos was saying in defense of his idea.  The block quote was what Markos said, not me.

When the truth is only a matter of opinion, advantage goes to the liars.
