... we've got a ballot initiative coming up in November, called the "Stop Special Interest Money Now Act," that deceptively says it would make it illegal for corporations and unions to take dues from an employee's paycheck to be used for political activity. But, of course, corporations do not take dues from employee paychecks, so this is essentially a measure designed to trick voters into starving unions of their ability to function, politically.

The new verbiage from the California Democratic party refers to this measure as the "Corporate Power Grab," and it is priority number one to be defeated this year. This is the second try at this by the 1%-ers in the past decade, and I know other states have been fielding similar stinker initiatives and legislative acts in recent years.

I don't know that all these things can be traced back to the Kochs, but it's amazing how widespread the war on workers has become, lately. Whoever is coordinating these efforts, they're really pushing it everywhere they can.

From inside Congress with their insane accounting requirement to fund future health insurance now.  They want to take away our voice at the same time as the Supreme Court has given them an unlimited voice.  And of course, they don't care that they're wiping out living wage jobs at the same time - that's merely a bonus!

The sooner we restore the 90% tax rate and cripple the ability of the 1% to do further damage, the better.

There are only two kinds of Republicans: Millionaires and Suckers.
