    I don't get it.

    I could understand not "blaming" anyone. But I don't see why GOP is getting blamed more than Democrats on this particular issue.

      the GOP is seen as being too close to Big Oil and Wall Street speculators?

      And it's not as if electing a Republican President will ensure that prices remain low--recall the George W. Bush years.

      and is wishful thinking.  Nobody serious can believe these results.  Ask people filling up who is to blame, and you will get an earful about Obama, even though the President has nothing to do with gas prices.  Unfortunately this is medicine democrats will have to swallow, having tied gas prices to Bush for years.  This is blowback.

      The President needs to get serious about a real all of the above approach and stop talking about algae.
