  •  betcha if a rico investigation started the prices (0+ / 0-)

    would fall.

meantime, I will pay, today, somewhere between $4.65 to $4.78 which were the cheapest prices I saw yesterday unless I want to drive an extra 20 miles to save a dime/gallon.

and i guarantee you this: Exxon's next stock dividends chevcks will be sweet. those reflect profit. it's an easy call for me.

    •  Has there been a RICO investigation (0+ / 0-)

in the past 25 years?  Does that Act still have weight?

It's about time I changed my signature.

      •  dunno if they were rico investigations, but (0+ / 0-)

there have been investigations on this and other energy-related issues (CA/Enron comes first to mind).

when they think they can get away with it, they try. and while there may be some truth to the cyclical nature of pricing (not sure on this... I can think of a lot of exceptions), dividends say a great deal.

when my friend gets her checks and her eyes bug out, it says about all i need to know.
